Cutting back on meat? Now you can indulge in good comfort food without compromising the taste! Try adding chunky bites of smoked fish to your pesto for a lunch that is filling, healthy, and delicious!
Milkfish Cakes Thai Style
250 g Angel hair pasta, cook as package directs
2 tbsp olive oil
¼ cup basil pesto (store-bought)
1 – 420 g pack Sarangani Bay Deboned Smoked Bangus, skin removed and flaked
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp garlic, minced
1 cup tomatoes, diced
fresh basil leaves for garnish
Heat olive oil in a saucepan, then add garlic and tomatoes.
Add flaked smoked fish. Cook until well heated for about 1 minute. Set aside.
Using the same pan, heat olive oil and pesto. Toss in cooked pasta and half of the smoked fish.
Place in a platter. Place the remaining smoked fish on top.
Garnish with basil leaves.
