Keep Your Best Shape With This Steamed Milkfish and Stewed Black Sesame Noodles

White Steamed Milkfish in Ginger and Onion with Stewed Black Sesame Noodles

Ingredients

1 pack Sarangani Bay Deboned Milkfish, unseasoned

1 teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon white pepper

2 tablespoons soya or peanut oil

1 tablespoon chopped ginger

1 cup chopped spring onion

Noodles

4 cups cooked egg noodles

6 cups water in salt

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 tablespoon toasted black sesame seeds

Procedure

1. Heat oil in a pan, lightly saute ginger and spring onions for 30 seconds. Set aside.

2. Place bangus in a sheet of aluminum foil. Season with salt and pepper. Top with sauteed ginger and onion. Seal foil. Place in a steamer for 10-12 minutes.

3. Put water and salt into a boil. Blanch noodles until well heated thru. Place in a bowl. Toss noodles with sesame oil and seeds.

4. Unwrap bangus in foil and transfer onto a platter. Serve together with sesame noodles.
