Take a break from rice meals in fast food chains! Let yourself indulge in this Thai inspired recipe with a local touch of Sarangani Bay Milkfish Fillet. This dish is best paired up with steamed white rice, as it neutralizes the fish’s rich sweet-sour flavor. You can also dip the fish with chili sauce if you want!

Milkfish Cakes Thai Style

Ingredients

1 pack Sarangani Bay Milkfish Fillet, skin removed

1 pack Thai Red Curry Paste (store-bought)

½ cup red onion, chopped

½ cup string beans, thinly sliced

1 tsp lime juice

¼ cup coriander leaves, chopped

Cooking oil for deep-frying

 Procedure

1. Combine Sarangani Bay fish fillet, red curry paste and onion. Mix them in a food processor until smooth and pasty. Place in a bowl. Then add string beans, lime juice and coriander leaves.

2. After adding the additional ingredients, form into 3-inc round patties and fry in hot oil. Drain well.

3. Serve with Thai sweet chili sauce.
