Smoked Fish in Honey Garlic Sauce

Ingredients

4 pieces Sarangani Bay Boneless Baby Bangus
2 tbsps all purpose flour
½ cup cooking oil

Honey-Garlic Sauce
1 cup chicken broth
½ cup honey
2 tbsps minced garlic
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tbsps soy sauce
2 tsps grated ginger
2 tbsps cornstarch dissolved in
¼ cup water
fried crispy garlic
chopped spring onions

 Procedure

Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan except cornstarch and water. Put to a boil for 3 minutes.
2. Add cornstarch solution. Cook until thick. Remove from heat. Set aside.
3. Coat fish with flour and fry in hot oil. When brown on both asides. Remove and drain.
4. While hot dip fish into prepared sauce and allow to coat evenly. Serve immediately while hot.

May be garnished with crispy garlic bits and spring onions.
