Cajun Shrimp Popcorn

Ingredients

500g Sarangani Bay Vannamei Shrimp, peeled, deveined and tail removed

1 1/2 cups All purpose flour

1 tsp. Baking Soda

1 tsp. Sugar

1 cup Beer, ice cold

1 tsp. Salt

1/4 tsp. Pepper

3 cups Cooking oil

1/2 tbsp. Paprika

1 tbsp. Garlic Powder

1/2 tbsp. Onion Powder

1/2 tbsp. Black Powder

1/2 tbsp. Cayenne Pepper

1/2 tbsp. Ground Cumin

1/2 tsp. salt

Procedure

Dredge shrimps in ½ cup of flour. Set aside

Mix together remaining flour, baking soda, sugar, beer salt and pepper.

Dip shrimp pieces and coat with batter.

Deep fry in hot cooking oil. Fry until lightly browned and crisp. Drain.

Mix together paprika, garlic powder, onion powder black pepper, cayenne pepper, cumin and salt.

Sprinkle spice mix over freshly cooked shrimps.

Serve with French fries and ranch dip
