Shrimp Pesto Pizza

Ingredients

250g Sarangani Bay Vannamei Shrimp, peeled and deveined, tail removed

1/3 cup Olive oil

1 tbsp. Garlic, minced

1/4 cup Onion, chopped

1/4 cup Celery, chopped

1 cup Tomato sauce

1 tsp. Dried Oregano

1 tbsp. Sugar

Salt and pepper to taste

2 Pizza crust, maybe store bought

200g Mozzarella, shredded

1 tsp. Oregano flakes

1/2 cup Bottled pesto

Salt & Pepper to taste

Procedure

In a pan, Saute in 2 tbsp of olive oil garlic, onion, celery. Stir tomato sauce, oregano, sugar, salt and pepper. Cook for 3 mins over medium heat. Remove from pan and set aside.

Using the same pan, heat another 2 tbsp of olive oil. Saute shrimps add oregano, pesto,salt and pepper. Set aside.

Prepare crust by brushing both side with the remaining olive oil. Top with tomato sauce, mozzarella and sautéed pesto shrimps. Repeat with the remaining crust.

Bake pizzas in a pre-heated oven at 400 deg for 10-12 minutes.Until cheese melts and bubbly.

Serve hot.
