Make It More Tender With Tandoori Bangus Belly
Tandoori is an Indian style of cooking composed of different spices and an additional yogurt to make your dish more flavorful. It is usually cooked in clay pot or baked in an oven to result tenderness.
You can never go wrong with your tandoori if you try it with bangus belly as your main ingredient and for your dip, it is best served with cucumber raita. It will surely become your favorite Indian food of all time.
Bangus Belly In Tandoori With Cucumber Raita
Ingredients
1-420g pack Sarangani Bay Prime Bangus Belly
1 cup natural yogurt
1 T lemon juice
1 t red cayenne pepper
1 t ground cumin
1 t ground turmeric
1 T fresh coriander root (wansoy)
1 T crushed ginger
1 T minced garlic
Procedure
Wash and pat dry bangus belly. Set aside. Process in a blender yogurt, lemon juice, red cayenne pepper, cumin, turmeric, coriander root, ginger and garlic.
Pour prepared marinade over bangus belly. Gently massage marinade into the bangus. Allow to marinade for 3-4 hrs in chiller.
Heat cooking oil in a frying pan, fry bangus belly over medium heat 2 mins on both sides.
Serve with rice and cucumber raita.
