Love it or hate it, the usual beef patty we all grew up with is loaded with calories and cholesterol. And for the more health-conscious among us, this is definitely a no-no.
But what if we tell you that you can totally cheat your way into having a burger party minus the towering guilt? Hint: bangus is involved.
This bangus recipe will show you just that using basic ingredients. You can even shape your bangus patty however you want! It’s also something the kids will enjoy doing with you.
Grill it or fry it—it’s your call. It’s awesome either way.
Ingredients
1 kilo Sarangani Bay Deboned Milkfish (Bangus) or Back Fillet or Smoked, flaked
3 pcs eggs
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp. liquid seasoning
salt and pepper
Procedure
In a bowl, combine the ground fish, eggs, lemon juice, seasoning, salt and pepper.
Blend well then form into patties.
Pan-fry or grill until done.
